Shepherd’s Pie

Method

1) Sauté meat until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
2) Sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook one more minute.
3) Stir in tomato paste, basil and salt and pepper to taste to the onion mixture.
4) Cook and drain frozen vegetables and add to the onion mixture.
5) Add the cooked meat to this mixture and stir.
6) Spray a baking dish with cooking spray for easier cleanup pour the onion and meat mixture to the dish.
7) Spread the cooked mashed potatoes evenly over the meat mixture.
8) Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
