Slow Cooker Roast Chicken

Method

1) Combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, cayenne, salt and pepper.
2) Tear off three sheets of aluminum foil about 12"x12" each, and roll into a ball. Place in bottom of a slow cooker to act as a rack, keeping the chickens from boiling in the liquid.
3) Remove chicken giblets and put the onions and celery inside the chicken.
4) Rub the butter all over the chicken.
5) Combine Paprika, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Thyme, Cayenne Pepper, Salt, Pepper and sprinkle or rub the mixture all over the chicken
6) Place the chicken on top of the aluminum foil. Cover with lid and turn crockpot on low.
7) Cook on low for 7 hours (preferred) or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
